Peonies, cherry blossoms, a wild orchid and a pastel bouquet. Here's what's coming to the Botanicals range in January and February.
LEGO has four new Botanicals sets lined up for the start of 2027. There are two bouquets, an orchid and a set of cherry blossom branches. The first two arrive on New Year's Day and the last one lands on 1 February.
Botanicals has been one of LEGO's steadiest themes for a few years now. The sets look great, and they've brought plenty of new people to LEGO who would never have bought a spaceship or a castle. Looking at these four, I can't see that changing any time soon.
Set 11515
Peonies are a florist favourite, with big, full blooms packed with layers of ruffled petals. That's a tricky shape to get right in bricks, so I'm keen to see how the designers have built up the layers.
LEGO has only listed a US price so far: US$59.99. The last Botanicals bouquet at that price, 11501 Tulip Bouquet, sold here for AU$99.99, so I'd expect something similar. We'll update this once the Australian price is confirmed.

Set 11516
This is the smallest and cheapest of the four, at 405 pieces and US$29.99. We've had LEGO cherry blossoms before with 40725 Cherry Blossoms, but branches are a different look from a bunch of flowers. They give a vase some height and shape, and they'd work well alongside any of the bouquets.
Again, there's only a US price for now. Smaller Botanicals sets at US$29.99, such as 10347 Petite Sunny Bouquet, have been AU$49.99 here.

Set 11519
The original 10311 Orchid has been a favourite since 2022, and plenty of people have one on a bookshelf or a desk. The name suggests a looser, less tidy take on the idea, more like an orchid growing in the wild than one in a neat pot.
This one already has its Australian details. It's 606 pieces, rated 18+, and it's AU$99.99 from 4 January 2027.

Set 11522
The last of the four arrives on 1 February. As the name says, the colours are toned down: soft pinks, peaches, lilacs and pale blues. There are daisies with chunky orange centres, a cluster of tiny peach roses, a big pink bloom with orange in the middle, pale blue star-shaped flowers and sprigs of red berries, all filled out with sage-green leaves.
Most of the bouquets so far have gone for bright colour, so this one makes a nice contrast on the shelf. Built, it's about 40.8 cm tall, 26.7 cm wide and 24.9 cm deep. As usual, the vase isn't included.
The detail I like most is the "Build Together" badge on the box. It's designed for 1–3 builders using the LEGO Builder app, so a family or a couple of friends can each take some flowers and then bring them together in the vase. Each stem is its own little build, so nobody is left waiting for a turn.

I haven't built any of these yet, so this is a first look rather than a review. On looks alone, it's a strong start to the year for Botanicals. I like that the four sets feel different from each other: one big classic bouquet, a soft pastel one, a plant and some branches. They'll mix and match well, too, and pulling stems from different sets into one vase is half the fun of collecting them.
The Botanicals sets look great, and I think they'll keep being a success for LEGO. Which one would you put on your shelf first? Let us know in the comments, or bring it up on Talk n Sort on Tuesday night.
