Rainbow Bricks is an open, welcoming, and inclusive community dedicated to Adult Fans of LEGO® (AFOLs). We bring together hobbyists of all skill levels to collaborate on massive custom builds, share building techniques, and host premier public fan exhibitions across New South Wales. To maintain a thriving and focused regional network, we have established clear, non-discriminatory guidelines for joining our community.

Our Signature Brickfest Fan Events
At the heart of our community spirit are our eight annual "Brickfest" LEGO® Fan Events, held across the Central Coast, Hunter Valley, and Mid-North Coast. These premier public exhibitions serve as our ultimate canvases, allowing members to come together and debut high-quality displays for thousands of public visitors.
Critically, every brick laid at our shows contributes to a meaningful regional cause. As a proud Not-for-Profit LUG, our event profits are generously donated back to local charity partners—including our ongoing flagship support of the John Hunter Children's Hospital Kids Club—strengthening vital community bonds across New South Wales.

1. Eligibility Requirements
- Age Limit & Family Displayers: Official standalone community membership is focused on adult fans (AFOLs) aged 18 years or older. However, we warmly welcome younger builders under 18 to exhibit at our events! Minors are permitted to display provided a parent or guardian accompanies them at all times, and the guardian completes the formal exhibition enrollment process on their behalf.
- Geographic Focus: Our active physical footprint is based in New South Wales. Membership is open to builders residing in or near our core operational regions: Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Mid-North Coast, and the Central Coast.
2. Expectations & Participation Pathway
We pride ourselves on cultivating an active, hands-on, and collaborative ecosystem. To keep our group focused on real-world engagement, we utilize a two-tier onboarding pathway:
- General / Exhibitor Status: Anyone over 18 within our regions can register via Jumper Plate to join our digital spaces, attend local club meetings, and volunteer.
- Full Community Membership: To unlock full LUG status, individuals are expected to demonstrate their support by displaying creations at a minimum of two public Brickfest or official club pop-up events.
