Rainbow Bricks is an open, welcoming, and inclusive community dedicated to Adult Fans of LEGO® (AFOLs). We bring together hobbyists of all skill levels to collaborate on massive custom builds, share building techniques, and host premier public fan exhibitions across New South Wales. To maintain a thriving and focused regional network, we have established clear, non-discriminatory guidelines for joining our community.
We keep our community active, connected, and inspired year-round through a robust mix of weekly, monthly, and seasonal event pathways.
Catch up with the community every week from the comfort of home. Share your latest builds, ask for technique advice, and chat bricks with fellow members.
Bring your bricks, sort through parts elements, and catch up with local builders in a casual setting. It’s where you can chat with AFOLs outside of Rainbow Bricks each week on our Instagram feed!
Join us in-person for our regular local gatherings at Charlestown. It's the perfect casual space to trade parts, collaborate on ideas, and connect face-to-face.
Show off your creations at premier regional pop-culture events, including LEVEL UP, Newy Con, Central Coast Comic Con, and Pop Bam.
At the heart of our community spirit are our eight annual "Brickfest" LEGO® Fan Events, held across the Central Coast, Hunter Valley, and Mid-North Coast. These premier public exhibitions serve as our ultimate canvases, allowing members to come together and debut high-quality displays for thousands of public visitors.
Critically, every brick laid at our shows contributes to a meaningful regional cause. As a proud Not-for-Profit LUG, our event profits are generously donated back to local charity partners—including our ongoing flagship support of the John Hunter Children's Hospital Kids Club—strengthening vital community bonds across New South Wales.
We pride ourselves on cultivating an active, hands-on, and collaborative ecosystem. To keep our group focused on real-world engagement, we utilize a two-tier onboarding pathway:
At public exhibitions and conventions, our members proudly represent the club in our signature branded Rainbow Bricks and Newcastle Brickfest gear, bringing a visible community spirit to every display.

We utilize a secure, dedicated third-party system called Jumper Plate to manage our growing network of active builders. Clicking the registration button below will take you straight to our onboarding portal where you can securely create your builder profile, track upcoming club events, and manage your membership status.
💡 Are you an independent builder looking to display with us? You do not need a full community account to showcase your models! Applications are officially open for our premier flagship exhibition. Click here to apply to exhibit at Newcastle Brickfest 2026.
