Buttercup Flowers
Bright yellow, cup-shaped buttercups with little buds and leaves. The tallest stem is about 22.8 cm.
Buttercups, bluebells, sweet peas and more. A new line of single-flower sets lands on 1 January 2027, ready to add to any bouquet, and we've spotted three new elements along the way.
The LEGO Botanicals flowers 2027 range adds something new alongside the bigger bouquets: six small sets, each built around a single type of flower. They're between 56 and 78 pieces, they're AU$7.99 each, and they're all out on 1 January 2027.
Each box has two stems and is rated 8+, and the front carries a "6 to collect" badge. The flower is shown on the box, so there's no blind-bag guessing. Pick the ones you like, or grab all six for under AU$50.
Use the arrows on each card to see more photos of that flower.

A big magenta, five-petal mallow flower with a second stem of pink buds. The box calls them Mallow Flowers. About 19.6 cm tall.

Arching stems of pale blue bells with long, broad leaves. About 20 cm tall.

Ruffled pink and magenta sweet peas on slender, curling stems.

Orange-red nasturtiums with their round, lily-pad leaves, plus a bud. About 23.7 cm tall.

Star-shaped chicory flowers in purple-blue, with a pointed bud. The tallest of the six at about 24.4 cm.
Spotted in 11534 and 11535
While going through the set pictures, we spotted three new elements: two in the 11534 Bluebell Flowers and one in the 11535 Sweet Pea Flowers.
The first is a new bar with an angled section at each end. From the photos, each bend looks to be about 15 degrees, and the bars join up to give the stems their gentle curve. The second is the bluebell itself. It's similar to the banana peel element, but wider, so a stud can sit in the open end.
The Sweet Pea Flowers add one more: a pointed, petal-shaped piece. Here it comes in pink, and each flower uses two of them as the upright petals at the top.
This one isn't only in the small sets. It also turns up in some of the bigger new Botanicals sets, including in light blue in the 11522 Perfectly Pastel Flower Bouquet. You can see those sets in our look at the four new LEGO® Botanicals sets for 2027.
It's unusual to see new elements in sets this small. We expect all three will turn up in plenty more sets, and we're looking forward to seeing how builders use them.
This is where these little sets come into their own. They'll go with any other Botanicals set, so you can add a few stems to a bouquet you already have, fill a gap in a vase, or build a completely custom bunch from scratch. Mix a couple of each and you've got your own arrangement that nobody else will have.
They'd also make a good small gift, a bonus for a birthday card, or a first Botanicals build for someone who isn't sure about a bigger set yet.
I think these will be popular. At AU$7.99 the price is a winner, and they're an easy pick-up at the checkout. More importantly, they work with any other Botanicals set, so they're useful whether you've got one bouquet or a whole shelf of them.
They're also a great way to make a bouquet your own. Which flower would you add first? Let us know in the comments, or bring it up on Talk n Sort on Tuesday night. And while you're waiting for January, check out our LEGO® advent calendar countdown.
