Summer in Port Stephens brings sun, sand, and surf. For LEGO® fans across Australia, it also means one thing: Brickfest at The Bay is back!
The 16th Annual Brickfest at the Bay returns this January!
As we get ready for 2026, we are proud to celebrate a big milestone. This is not just any hobby show; it is officially New South Wales' longest-running LEGO® Fan Event. Behind all the plastic bricks and smiling faces is a story of local dedication. This event is a true passion project run by local LEGO® fans Kevin and Angela.
For 15 years, Kevin and Angela have organized 16 events in Port Stephens, turning Brickfest from a small community gathering into a key date on the Australian LEGO® calendar. Their mission has always been to share the joy of creativity and give back to the community they love.
Why 2026 is Our Biggest Year Yet
For our 16th event, we are going all out. Exhibitors from across New South Wales and Queensland will be here to show their creations. You’ll see everything from large cityscapes to detailed technical builds. The talent this year is truly amazing.

Something for Every Builder
Brickfest at The Bay offers an interactive experience for the whole family:
- Find-A-Minifigure: Try our signature scavenger hunt and see if you can spot the hidden minifigures in the displays.
- LEGO® Build Area: Get inspired and build your own creation with thousands of bricks.
- Colouring-In: A creative space just for younger fans.
- LEGO® Vendors: Searching for a retired set or a special part? Our vendors can help.
Supporting Our Local Heroes
At the heart of Brickfest is our partnership with the Tomaree Community Hospital Auxiliary. All proceeds from the event go to the Auxiliary to support the important work they do for our local hospital. We believe in building a better future together.

No need to worry about lunch. The Marine Rescue Port Stephens Food Van will be on-site with breakfast and lunch, and there will be a Coffee Van to keep the adults energized and ready to explore!
