New LEGO® Friends 2027 Sets Revealed at the Unicorn Café
LEGO® Friends fans have three new sets to look forward to in the new year. The LEGO Group revealed them this week at a LEGO Friends Unicorn Café pop-up in London, and all three land on shelves on 1 January 2027.
A set, then a musical, now a café
The pop-up is based on the LEGO Friends Unicorn Dream Café set and a scene from LEGO Friends: Heartlake The Musical. If you missed it, you can read our review of Heartlake The Musical here. It's not every day a LEGO set becomes a movie setting and then a real café you can walk into!
The café is running at Potters Fields Park in London from 29 to 31 October. Entry is free, and visitors can watch screenings and sing along to songs from the musical, take on building challenges and build-alongs, make a model to take home, and enjoy themed drinks and treats. Sadly it's a long way from Newcastle, but the photos give you a good feel for it.
The three new sets
42718 Friendship Party Bus
This one's a party on wheels. The bus has a rooftop pool with a slide down the back, karaoke microphones, speakers and a cupcake party table that sits alongside. At 676 pieces it's the middle set of the three, and it comes with the biggest cast: Leo, Allya, Liann and Daisy, plus Churro the cat.
Daisy is the newcomer from Heartlake The Musical, so it's nice to see her turn up in a set so soon after the film.
42719 Heartlake City Shopping Mall
The largest of the new sets at 843 pieces. The mall has a working elevator and a working toy vending machine, plus a fashion store, a hair salon, a café and a rooftop garden with palm trees. It includes Irene, Nova, Liann and Leo. I really like the big shopping-bag characters sitting on the roof.
42709 Pet Care & Play Centre
This one's all about the pets. There's a slide, a seesaw, a pet bath and a brick-built cat tree, with a big dog face on the roof. Leo, Nova and Amara run the place, and they're joined by Peanut the dog, Churro the cat, Brownie the bunny and Bubbles the axolotl. It's the smallest set at 366 pieces and would make a great entry point for a young builder.
