From Screen to Studs: Support Matt’s Crossy Road LEGO Ideas Project!
If you’ve ever spent a “quick five minutes” that turned into an hour trying to dodge blocky traffic and hopping over logs, you’ll recognise Matt’s latest masterpiece immediately. This isn’t just a model; it’s a 3,100-brick love letter to the iconic game Crossy Road.
Matt (known as @stowball on LEGO Ideas) has captured the “voxel” aesthetic perfectly using only currently available LEGO elements. The display is modular and packed with the game’s signature hazards: bustling roads, treacherous rivers with floating logs, and those high-speed trains that always seem to catch you off guard.
Note from the Builder
The response from the LEGO and gaming communities has already been overwhelming. Matt recently shared his gratitude for the support he’s received so far:
“I’m so grateful for all the encouragement and enthusiasm. It really means a lot, and it’s been a joy reading everyone’s memories and reactions to the game.”
The Details:
Matt is currently sitting at over 1,100 supporters, but the goal is 10,000 to reach the official LEGO Review stage.
