A zombie-filled Sanctum Sanctorum lands on 1 January 2027, but there's no Australian listing yet.

LEGO has revealed 67005 Doctor Strange Supreme, the first LEGO® Marvel What If...? set in more than five years. It's another take on Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum, but this time the multiverse has gone sideways and the building has been overrun by zombie heroes.

If you've watched What If...? on Disney+, you'll know Strange Supreme as the version of Stephen Strange who lost Christine instead of his hands and went down a much darker path. He's the star here, alongside a handful of characters from the zombie side of the multiverse.

The set at a glance

  • Set number: 67005
  • Name: Marvel What If...? Doctor Strange Supreme
  • Pieces: 814
  • Minifigures: 6
  • Size: about 29 cm tall, 19 cm wide and 6 cm deep
  • Price: US$99.99 / £89.99 / €99.99 (no AUD price yet)
  • Release date: 1 January 2027

Who's in the box?

Six minifigures, and a few of them are pretty unusual:

  • Doctor Strange Supreme, with two moody face prints and a high-collared purple Cloak of Levitation
  • F.R.I.D.A.Y.
  • Zombie Hunter Spider-Man
  • Red Queen
  • Zombie Namor, only the second Namor minifigure released so far
  • Zombie Thor, the first one ever, complete with a zombie version of Stormbreaker

Several of these characters come from Marvel Zombies rather than What If...? itself, so this is a bit of a mash-up of the two shows.

The build

Like a lot of recent Marvel buildings, it's a slimline, display-friendly model at only 6 cm deep, so it should sit nicely on a shelf. There's still plenty packed inside. Sliding and switching mechanisms reveal hidden portals, the basement is full of magical artefacts, and on the first floor you'll find stickered copies of the Book of Cagliostro and the Book of Vishanti for the sharp-eyed Strange fans.

At 814 pieces for US$99.99, it looks like a solid mid-sized set, and the zombie twist gives it a different feel to the earlier Sanctum sets.

What about Australia?

Here's the catch. At the time of writing, 67005 is only listed on the US LEGO site. The Australian page doesn't exist yet, so there's no AUD price and no way to pre-order locally. Pre-orders are already open in the UK and Europe.

We'll update this post once the Australian listing goes live. In the meantime, keep an eye on your local LEGO Certified Store closer to January.

Our thoughts

It's great to see What If...? get some LEGO love again, and a first-ever Zombie Thor is going to be a draw for minifigure collectors on its own. Whether a zombie-infested Sanctum ends up on your shelf probably depends on how much you enjoyed the darker corners of the multiverse.
