Families and brick fans across the mid-North Coast, get ready! Rainbow Bricks™ LUG is absolutely thrilled to return of MidCoast Brickfest. We are bringing a wave of brick-built wonderland directly to the Great Lakes region this August. If you are looking for the absolute perfect family weekend activity that sparks endless imagination while directly investing in local children, this community showcase is an absolute must-visit.
Rainbow Bricks™ is a dedicated community-focused, not-for-profit group run entirely by passionate volunteer builders. Every event we coordinate is driven by a deep desire to give back to regional communities, and this year’s MidCoast Brickfest is no exception. We are incredibly proud to share that 100% of the profits raised from our legendary monster LEGO raffle will be donated directly to Krambach Public School P&C to support their valuable local educational programs and community school initiatives. When you bring your family along for a day of fun, you are actively helping fund vital resources for local regional students.
This year’s public exhibition is shaping up up as a spectacular event. The hall at Great Lakes College will be packed to the rafters with talented exhibitors traveling from across New South Wales to showcase more than 50 tables of incredible, highly detailed LEGO creations. Visitors will walk through a diverse landscape of imagination—from massive, moving collaborative cityscapes complete with working electric trains to intricate medieval castles, classic space dioramas, technic mechanical marvels, and pop-culture character displays. Our friendly exhibitors love chatting about their secret building tricks, so be sure to ask them how they brought their pieces to life!
But MidCoast Brickfest isn't just a spectator event—it's a fully immersive, hands-on experience! Once you’ve toured the displays and gathered plenty of inspiration, your family can head straight into our Interactive Build Area. This dedicated space is filled with thousands of loose elements where children and adults alike can pull up a seat, get creative, and construct their very own custom masterpieces. In addition to the play zones, we will have a curated selection of specialist retail vendors on-site, offering a vast array of rare parts, vintage sets, and hard-to-find custom minifigures to help expand your home collections.
To ensure a comfortable, relaxed, and safe environment for all our visitors, entry will be managed using staggered session timeslots with capped capacities. Early bird tickets are available online now, and we highly recommend securing your passes in advance to lock in your preferred arrival time.
