Get ready to be inspired! Rainbow Bricks™ RLUG (Recognised LEGO® User Group) is thrilled to announce the return of the Maitland Brickfest A LEGO Fan Event, an extravaganza for the whole family.
Set to be the largest event yet, Maitland Brickfest will transform Maitland High School into a breathtaking world of brick-built creations on Sunday, November 23rd, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The community fundraising event will showcase the incredible talent of over 30 dedicated Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs) from across the Hunter Valley and Central Coast. With over 100 tables of awe-inspiring displays, attendees will marvel at original creations spanning every theme imaginable, from sprawling LEGO® City layouts and epic Star Wars battles to magical Disney scenes and intricate architecture.
“Maitland Brickfest is more than just a display; it’s a celebration of creativity and community spirit,” said Kevin Evans, Event Coordinator. “The level of detail and passion our builders put into these exhibits is truly something to behold. We are excited to offer an immersive, fun, and safe experience for LEGO fans of all ages.”
Building for a Cause
A cornerstone of Maitland Brickfest is its commitment to supporting the local community. Every ticket sold for the event proudly supports The Maitland Hospital Volunteers Inc., helping them continue their invaluable work for the hospital and its patients.
“Your attendance directly translates into essential support for our local volunteers,” added the spokesperson. “It’s a fantastic way for families to have a memorable day out while making a real difference in the Maitland community.”

Beyond the spectacular fan-built displays, the event offers a full range of interactive activities:
LEGO® Build Area: A massive, dedicated zone where kids (and the young at heart) can unleash their own creativity with thousands of bricks.
- LEGO® Vendors: Retailers will be on-site selling new and retired LEGO® sets, individual bricks, and hard-to-find minifigures.
- Monster LEGO® Raffle: A chance to win incredible LEGO® prizes.
- Duplo Zone: A safe and fun area for our youngest builders.
