Newcastle Brickfest A LEGO Fan Event is a celebration of creativity and community, where the magic of LEGO comes alive. As the largest LEGO Fan Event in regional Australia, we bring together nearly 300 tables of incredible displays from some of the country’s most talented builders.
Our LEGO Master Builder’s original creations and displays of LEGO themes will impress and inspire kids of all ages. Interact with the exhibitors, asking them questions about their exhibits and LEGO in general. There will be displays for all family members.
Newcastle Brickfest is a family-friendly, not-for-profit event that has supported Newcastle charities for the past ten years. The John Hunter Children’s Hospital Kids Club is this year’s charity partner.
Our Cosplaying friends from the Hunter Heroes and Star Wars Characters will join us this year!

Build Area – An area for the kids to build after being inspired by the exhibitor’s creations.
Speed Builds – This popular competition returns and will run each hour.
Find A Minifigure—Many of the displays will contain a Minifigure. Tell us how many for a chance to win a prize!
Colouring In – Colouring in competition for the under 12s.
Monster LEGO Raffle – LEGO prizes to be won.
Cosplay Area – Have your photo taken with one of the characters or one of the backdrops.
Plus the Newcastle Racecourse will have their canteen open on the weekend.
We will once again have staggered start times and limits per session to improve the experience of Newcastle Brickfest. Once you have entered the event, you can stay as long as you like!
