HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RAINBOW BRICKS 🎉🥳❤️🎂🎉 😍🌈
A group of like-minded Adult Fans of LEGO [AFOLs]wanted to create a group that enjoyed all the LEGO colours under the Rainbow. As a result, Rainbow Bricks was born on this day in 2013. Since then, we have enjoyed displaying, creating and raising funds for all our charity partners.
Today we run eight Brickfest A LEGO Fan Events a year around the Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Mid North Coast of NSW, and over the nine years we have been running Rainbow Bricks, we have raised over $300,000 for all the charities we have supported.
We started with 10 people from the meeting and quickly increased to 30 people. Over the next nine years, we have added more people after they have done a couple of Brickfest events, and today we have 100 members. Most of the members are active exhibitors and display at events around Newcastle and even around Australia.
In 2014 we became a Recognised LEGO User Group with the LEGO Group and have been a member of the LAN [LEGO Ambassador Network] since then.
We have met many great people since 2013 and are happy to call many of them friends still. Exhibiting is a great way to give something back to the community and simultaneously provide some joy to LEGO fans. If this interests you, contact us, and we can talk about displaying with Rainbow Bricks.
The highlight of our year is Newcastle Brickfest which is Newcastle’s Premier LEGO Fan event and is celebrating 10 years in 2023. It has exhibitors from all around Australia displaying with us and is one of Australia’s longest-running LEGO Fan Events!
Thank You to everyone who has displayed at our events or has come and supported our charity partners and Rainbow Bricks.
🎉🥳❤️🌈
