Revealed: LEGO The Batman

LEGO has revealed four new sets for the latest Batman movie, “The Batman” including a Technics set, “The Batmobile”. The movie isn’t released until March 2022. The movie is based on the second year of Batman existence, thus, the batmobile is more of a streetcar than we have been used in previous movies.

The film will star Robert Pattinson as Batman, and his Batmobile is inspired by classic American muscle cars of the 1970s.
The Batman Minifigure has a new torso print and the villains are Selina Kyle™ [Cat Woman], The Riddler and The Penguin. The villains all have a new look based on the new movie. I like these prints but would like to see a few new villains but that will not happen while the movies rehash the same villains. At least it is not another Joker. 😉

Based on the price per part, I would only get the two cheaper sets and wait for the Batcave until it’s on clearance. I like Batcave and would incorporate it into my MOC Batcave if I got the set. Of course, that could all change once the movie is released.
