Rainbow Bricks is a Recognised LEGO User Group celebrating its 10th birthday today.

Back in 2013, at the Canberra Brick Expo, a group of like-minded AFOLs came together with a shared passion for the colourful world of LEGO.

Since then, for a decade, we have been spreading our “Love for the Brick” and connecting with other AFOLs across the Hunter Valley and Central Coast.

We started with twenty members and have seen members come and go over the 10 years. Currently, we have over 100 members who display at shows around Australia. Most are based in the Hunter Valley and Central Coast of NSW and exhibit at our Brickfest A LEGO Fan Events.

In that time, we have run over 60 Brickfest events and had over 60,000 people through the door to see the fantastic creations the exhibitors have created for everyone to enjoy.

Newcastle Brickfest is our main event of the year. It has grown from 2014 at the Newcastle PCYC to one of Australia’s Premier LEGO Fan Events at the Newcastle Jockey Club, with exhibitors from across Australia joining us in sharing their “Love of the Brick” and giving back to the community at the same time.

All of our events are fundraisers for our charity partners, with all the profits from these events being donated to them. We are proud to have donated over $120,000 to those Charity Partners over the ten years.

Plus, we have over 22,000 followers on our social feeds.

All of this is from a small group of people who “LOVE the LEGO Brick” and want to share the joy with other fans of LEGO.

Thank You to everyone who has displayed at one of our events or attended one of our events. You have helped make this possible.
The first 10 years have been a wonderful experience, and we look forward to many more. 🙂
